BIBLE STUDY:
Finding Jesus in Ezekiel (Yechezk'el in Hebrew)
By Ken Williams
We have been going book by book through the Old Testament (the Jewish Scriptures) to find what it has to say about Jesus, the Jewish Messiah. Remember, Jesus taught exclusively out of the Old Testament (there was no New Testament at the time) and said it was those Scriptures which spoke of Him. So, in our study today, we come to the Old Testament prophet Ezekiel.
The Book of Ezekiel was written during the exile to Babylon to "The whole House of Israel" - including all twelve tribes. This is significant since there are some today who build their entire theology on a belief that several hundred years before Judah was taken captive into Babylon, the ten Northern Tribes were lost. They refer to them as the "Ten Lost Tribes." However, you will never find that term (or even the concept) anywhere in the Scriptures. There never were any lost tribes. Members of all Twelve Tribes were among those exiled to Babylon, and some members of each of the Twelve Tribes returned to Jerusalem from the exile. Later in the New Covenant, James writes to "the twelve tribes." There were no missing tribes in Jesus' day, or during the time of the early church.
Ezekiel was a priest; one of the many carried away into exile to Babylon. He was a very devout Jew who loved and served Jehovah (Yahweh in Hebrew). Ezekiel's ministry was one of reaching out to those in exile; to remind them that God would fulfill His promises by restoring them to the land, and providing the Messiah who would establish peace and prosperity not only in Israel, but in the entire world.
Ezekiel records that during the last king before the destruction of Jerusalem, the presence of God was removed from the land. The Cherubim rested on top of the Ark of the Covenant in the Holy of Holies in the innermost part of the Temple. This was represented by a gold, throne-like seat encompassed with golden heavenly wings. Ezekiel says that, "Then the cherubim lifted their wings and rose into the air with their wheels beside them, and the glory of the God of Israel stood above them. Then the glory of the Lord rose from over the city and stood on the mountain on the east side" (Ezekiel 11:22-23 NIV). In chapters 40 through 47 we have the building of the Millennial Temple, and worship in it. When it is ready the Spirit of God will return. Ezekiel is having a vision from God, and he records, "And suddenly the glory of the God of Israel appeared from the east. The sound of His coming was like the roar of rushing waters and the whole landscape lighted up with His glory... And the glory of the Lord came into the Temple through the eastern passageway. Then the Spirit took me up and brought me into the inner court; and the glory of the Lord filled the Temple" (Ezekiel 43:2-5 NIV). At no time in history has this event taken place, nor could it have taken place. This event is still future.
We have already seen that the Prophet Isaiah referred to Messiah as "a Branch out of Jesse (David's father)" (Isaiah 11:1). The Prophet Jeremiah spoke of Messiah as "a Branch of righteousness (Jeremiah 23:5 and 33:15). The Prophet Zechariah (whose writings are still ahead in our study) wrote of Messiah as, "My Servant the BRANCH" (Zechariah 6:12). Ezekiel depicts Messiah as, "the tender twig on the branch" (Ezekiel 17:22-24). Notice that Ezekiel says God will raise up a stately cedar on a lofty mountain (the House of Jesse), then will pick a tender twig from the top of it (David), and will plant it on a high and prominent mountain. What is the "prominent mountain" in Israel, also known in the Scriptures as, "God's Holy Hill?" It is Mount Zion - Jerusalem, of course.
Ezekiel goes on to say that there is a time coming when the kings and kingdoms of the world will be "overthrown" (Ezekiel 21:26-27) and he repeats the word three times. In Hebrew repeating a word twice is for emphasis. Repeating it three times is extreme emphasis. He says God will remove their "turbans, and take off their crowns." Who is it who will rule? "He...whose right it is, and I will give it to Him."
As we go into chapter 34 we see Messiah pictured as "The True Shepherd." When Messiah becomes King, it says in Ezekiel 34:11-31, that He, "will search for My sheep and seek them out" (verse 11 NIV). Where are these sheep? He says He will, "deliver them from all the places where they were scattered" (verse 12 NIV). Where are these places to which they have been scattered? He says, "I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land" (verse 13 NIV). While some Jews have lived in the land down through history, the majority of Jews have been scattered since the Babylonian exile, and the land, while inhabited by some Jews has never again been theirs until 1948. Even when Jesus walked the shores of Galilee, and climbed up to Jerusalem for the High Holy Day celebrations, the land did not belong to the Jews. But notice what is going to happen when they get home. God says, "I will feed them in good pasture...they shall lie down in a good fold and feed in rich pastures" (verse 14 NIV). There will be unending peace and prosperity in the land!
Notice further, that God, who has declared Himself as the Shepherd, says, "I will establish one shepherd over them...a descendant of My servant David. He shall feed them to be their Shepherd" (verse 23 NIV). In verse 25 God declares that He will make still another covenant with Israel - "a Covenant of Peace." Notice some of the benefits of this covenant: 1. Wild beasts will no longer hurt people or other animals (verse 25). 2. God's "Holy Hill" (Jerusalem - Mount Zion) will become a blessing to all nations (verse 26). 3. The early and latter rains will return to what is now a very dry land (verse 26). 4. The ground will bring forth bountiful crops, and the Jews will dwell safely in their land (verse 27). 5. There will be no more war (verse 28). 6. There will be no more hunger, the Gentile nations will never again look down on the Jews (verse 29).
God concludes by saying, "Thus they shall know that I, the LORD Jehovah their God, am with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are my people (verse 30 NIV).
Virtually everything that Ezekiel writes from chapter 34 to the end of the book is prophetic looking to the "end of the age." Remember, these prophecies were written after Jerusalem was destroyed, and Ezekiel had been taken to Babylon. These prophecies could not be fulfilled until Israel was back in its own land. From the destruction of Jerusalem by King Nebuchadnezzar until 1948, these prophecies could not be fulfilled, because they did not have their own land. But more importantly, if Jesus was not Israel's Messiah, then none of these prophecies can ever be fulfilled, because there is no way today to determine who might be heir to the line of David. However, there is an even more compelling argument for Jesus being the Jewish Messiah coming up in another book (the Book of Daniel) still ahead in our study. For Daniel (also an exile to Babylon) will predict the date that Messiah will be "cut off." We will follow that date to Passover, April 7th in the year 30 AD when Jesus was offered on the Tree of Sacrifice for the sins of the world. If Jesus was not the Promised Jewish Messiah, then we have already gone 2,000 years past the time the Prophet Daniel predicted that Messiah would come. If that is the case, then neither Jew nor Christian has any basis to continue practicing their representative religions. ___________________________________________________________
THE WORLD OF SCIENCE:
Vignettes
It is not the purpose of these essays and vignettes to present the scientific evidence for or against creationism or evolution. Both are faith based systems which interpret the same evidence in light of their preconceived, foundational systems (sometimes called their "worldview").
Our purpose is to cast doubt on the evolutionary system based mostly on the logic of the evolutionary system of interpreting the evidence. We leave the science to the scientists. However, we hope our comments will whet your appetite to the point that you will investigate the facts for yourself.
This quarter we will leave you with a series of comments and statements which we hope will stimulate your inquisitiveness. ----------
HOW DIFFERENT ARE THEY?
Crayfish were found in rocks supposedly dated to 220 million years old.
Scientists were suprised to discover they were identical to modern crayfish.
If evolutionary processes are still going on, why is it that in 220 million supposed years, the crayfish hasn't changed at all?
----------
ASTRONOMER ROBERT JASTROW
"If the universe had not been made with the most exacting precision, we could never have come into existence. It is my view that these circumstances indicate the universe was created for man to live in."
----------
THE FACTS ARE THE SAME
We all live on the same Earth, in the same universe, with the same planets, animals and fossils. You see the argument is not about the facts. It's about how you interpret the facts.
For example, fossils and stars exist in the present, but to understand where they came from, we have to develop beliefs about past events which won't be repeated for us to study today.
So the debate isn't about the facts we see today, but the beliefs we use to interpret the facts.
----------
ASTRONOMER FREDERICK HOYLE
It appears that "a super-intellect has monkeyed with physics, as well as with chemistry and biology."
----------
THE ARCHER FISH: Aim, Spit and Catch!
The Archer fish is famous for its ability to shoot down insects with a well-aimed spit of water, calculating where it's prey will fall.
The Archer fish has a reaction time twice as fast as the average human. The brain of this fish is capable of complex mathematics, including trigonometry and calculus.
Yet, evolutionists tell us that the Archer fish is just another product of millions of years of random, chance processes. Remarkable!
----------
ASTRONOMER GEORGE GREENSTEIN
He asks if it is possible that we have "stumbled upon scientific proof for the existence of a Supreme Being."
----------
WHAT'S THE BUZZ ABOUT?
Honeybees fly with incredible agility that's the envy of stunt pilots! Their navigation software, is packed into a brain the size of a sesame seed.
Bees have airspeed gauges, gyroscopes, a sophisticated compass, UV sensors to track the horizon and two compound eyes, each with 7,000 subeyes.
Scientists have yet to design or build anything remotely comparable. Can the honeybee, be a product of random, chance processes?
----------
"There is a popular image of human evolution that you'll find all over the place... On the left of the picture there's an ape... On the right, a man... Between the two is a succession of figures that become ever more like humans... Our progress from ape to human looks so smooth, so tidy. It's such a beguiling image that even the experts are loath to let it go. But it is an illusion."
Bernard Wood (Professor of human origins, George Washington University), "Who are We?" New Scientist, 2366 (26 October 2002), page 44.

AMAZING DNA It Beats Computers!
A computer can hold billions of bits of data. But, DNA the size of the head of a pin contains enough data to fill a stack of books reaching from Earth to the moon 500 times over!
Now, think of the billions of dollars and hours of research it took to develop the computer. No scientist would ever look at a computer and think it was the result of chance, random processes.
Yet these same scientists look at DNA and insist it arose through evolutionary processes!
----------
NEPTUNES WONDERS: Fascinating Activity!
Neptune is an amazing planet that can't be explained by long ages of time.
Astronomers were amazed to discover that Neptune is very active, even though it's so far from the sun. Winds can reach 1,300 miles per hour and the planet actually generates heat!
Evolutionists keep looking for some weird scenario to explain Neptune. Unfortunately, many astronomers prefer to keep inventing fables, rather than admitting to a Creator.
----------
IN ORDER FOR EVOLUTION TO BE TRUE:
- Something must come from nothing - Life must come from non-life - A single-cell organism must develop into a many-celled complex organism - Invertebrates must grow back bones - Apes must become men - Non-intelligent and amoral matter must give rise to intelligent morality - Yearning must grow into religion
----------
SATURN'S RINGS - Profound Pictures!
When space probes revealed pictures of Saturn, scientists were amazed at the appearance of billions of particles, caught up in violent turbulence and instability in Saturn's rings.
For these rings to have existed for supposedly billions of years, those particles should be in extremely stable orbits.
If, on the other hand, the rings are only several thousand years old, what we see in Saturn's rings are consistent with known physical laws.
----------
CREATION AND EVOLUTION ARE INCOMPATIBLE WORLDVIEWS
"We take the side of science in spite of the patent absurdity of some of its constructs, in spite of its failure to fulfill many of its extravagant promises ... no matter how counter-intuitive, no matter how mystifying to the uninitiated ... we cannot allow a Divine Foot in the door."
Richard Lewontin, "Billions and Billions of Demons," The New York Review, January 9, 1997.
----------
GEORGE GAYLORD SIMPSON (Evolutionary Paleontologist)
- "This (gap in the proposed progression of horses) is true of all 32 orders of mammals..." - "The earliest and most primitive known members of every order already have the basic ordinal characters, and in no case is an approximately continuous sequence from one order to the next known." - "In most cases the break is so sharp and the gap so large that the origin of the order is speculative and much disputed."
----------
EVE, THE MOTHER OF ALL: Her DNA is Remarkable!
Over recent years, scientists have conducted a lot of research on DNA that's found in the mitochondria of a cell. Now, this DNA is only inherited through females.
By comparing mutations (or mistakes) in the DNA of people worldwide, scientists came to a startling conclusion - it looks as if all people living today are descended from one woman.
With the latest mutation data, the ancestral mother of all, lived a mere 6,000 or so years ago.

DIVISIONS OF GEOLOGICAL COLUMN TIME CHART Showing Development of Plant and Animal Life
Nowhere in the world is the record, or even part of it, anywhere near complete. Derek Ager, The New Catastrophism, Page 14
For more than a hundred years, geologists of all countries have been cooperating in this endeavor and the total thickness of stratified rocks now recognized would exceed 500,000 feet (95 miles) if all the beds were directly superposed.
No single area contains a record of all geological time... We need only discover and correlate enough of the scattered fragments to build up a composite record of all geologic time.
C. O. Dunbar, Historical Geology, 2nd Edition, pages 9-10
A rock that had an earlier form or an organism was clearly older than rocks containing later forms. Furthermore, all rocks that had the early form no matter how far apart these rocks were georgraphically, would have to be the same age... In this way our geologic timetable came into being... Without the theory of evolution and the interdisciplinary science of paleontology it could not exist.
Geology: Putnam & Bassett, page 544
The rocks do date the fossils but the fossils date the rocks more accurately. Stratigraphy cannot avoid this kind of reasoning if it insists on using only temporal concepts, because circularity is inherent in the derivation of timescales.
J. E. O'Rourke, "Pragmatism vs. Materialism in Stratigraphy," American Journal of Science, Jan. 1976
Contrary to what most scientists write, the fossil record does not support the Darwinian theory of evolution because it is this theory (there are several) which we use to interpret the fossil record. By doing so we are guilty of circular reasoning if we then say the fossil record supports this theory.
Ronald West, "Paleontology and Uniformitarianism," Compas, Vol. 45, page 216
The end product of correlation is a mental extraction called the geological column.

RECORD FOSSIL FOUND IN OKLAHOMA
Ada, Oklahoma (Associated Press) The world's oldest fossilized shrimp has been discovered in southern Oklahoma, near Ada
The little guy swam through the warm waters of the ocean that is now Oklahoma millions of years before the common crabs, lobsters and shrimp ever took a dip about 250 million years ago.
"This guy is way older - about 375 million years of so," said Rodney Feldmann, Kent State University professor emeritus.
He and associate professor Carrie Schweitzer studied the crustacean and just had their paper published in the Journal of Crustacean Biology.
The discovery is also surprising in another way. When it died, the creature's soft, squishy skeleton should have enticed something to dine on it right away or its body should have just fallen apart in the ocean that covered Oklahoma and most of North America. But scientists were lucky. Its muscles are well preserved.
"It takes very remarkable preservation to preserve the shrimp in the first place, and it's even more remarkable to preserve the muscle. That's why this was kind of a double whammy," Feldmann said.
This crustacean died under the best of conditions. It was buried almost instantly in a shallow part of the seafloor, where the environment was acidic and with little oxygen.
EDITOR'S COMMENT:
I have just two things to point out:
1. Did you notice how Feldmann had to look for something unusual to have happened to have preserved this shrimp? This preservation is a whole lot easier to explain if the water which covered North America was actually Noah's Flood, and the shrimp was buried alive and buried in the violence that was going on as layers of mud, silt, sand, etc. turned to rock at the bottom.
2. These scientists dated this shrimp as 375 million years old. But did you notice it was still a shrimp, not some kind of crustacean evolving from something else into a shrimp. __________________________________________________________
ANCIENT HUMAN REMAINS FOUND IN ISRAEL
Jerusalem, Israel (Associated Press): Israeli archaeologists said Monday they may have found the earliest evidence yet for the existence of modern man, and if so, it could upset theories of the origin of humans.
A Tel Aviv University team excavating a cave in central Israel said teeth found in the cave are about 400,000 years old and resemble those of other remains of modern man, known scientifically as Homosapiens (humans), found in Israel. The earliest Homosapien remains found until now are half as old.
"It's very exciting to come to this conclusion," said archaeologist Avi Gopher, whose team examined the teeth with X-rays and CT scans and dated them according to the layers of earth where they were found.
He stressed that further research is needed to solidify the claim. If it does, he says, "this changes the whole picture of evolution."
The accepted scientific theory is that Homosapiens originated in Africa and migrated out of the continent. Gopher said if the remains are definitively linked to modern human's, it could mean that modern man in fact originated in what is now Israel.
EDITOR'S COMMENT:
I have to laugh when I read such wild propositions. A single tooth? Do you remember Nebraska Man, touted as a missing link based on a single tooth found in Nebraska. Nebraska man was in our science books for many years until it was discovered that the tooth belonged to an extinct variety of pig. It has since been discovered that the pig is not extinct at all; but very much alive and thriving in South America.
Notice the term in the article used several times: "modern man." That means this is not a missing link, but a real human, living long before many of the supposed missing links that have been concocted.
And finally, Archeologist Gopher says this would indicate that humans did not originate in Africa and migrate north; but that they originated in Israel. My only comment is, "Back to the Bible!" ___________________________________________________________
OUR REAL AMERICAN HISTORY:
Vignettes Compiled by Ken Williams
"The moral pinciples and precepts found in the Scriptures ought to form the basis for all our civil constitutions and laws. Noah Webster
----------
JOHN LOCKE One of our Founding Fathers
Many law and history professors and revisionist historical writers commonly say that John Locke was a secular political writer, a liberal thinker, and religiously, a deist. You decide.
1. In 1696, John Locke assisted in the drafting of the Carolina constitution under which no man could be a citizen uless he acknowledged God, was a member of a church, and used no "reproachful, reviling, or abusive language" against any religion.
2. In his most famous political work, his Two treatises of Government, Locke set forth the belief that successful governments could be built only upon the transcendent, unchaning principles of natural law that were a subset of God's law. He declared, "The Law of Nature stands as an eternal rule to all men, legislators as well as others. The rules that they make for other men's actions must...be conformable to the Law of Nature, i.e., to the will of God." He also wrote, "Laws human must be made according to the general laws of Nature, and without contradiction to any positive law of Scripture, otherwise they are ill made."
3. One of the signers of the Declaration of Independence, Richard Henry Lee declared that the Declaration was copied from Lock's Treatise on Government. In that work Locke quoted 1,349 times from the Bible.
4. In addition to his writings on government, Locke also wrote a verse-by-verse commentary on Paul's Epistles. He compiled a topical Bible. He also wrote a book titled, "The reasonableness of Christianity as Delivered in the Scriptures." ----------
THOMAS McKEAN Wrote a 1792 Commentary on the Constitution A signer of the Declaration of Independence Helped author the Constitutions of Pennsylvania and Delaware Served as Governor of both Pennsylvania and Delaware Served as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania
As the Chief Justice of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, he presided over the case of The Republic vs. John Roberts. Roberts was charged with Treason. Notice that the case was tried in a state court, not the Federal courts - but that is another story.
The jury found Roberts guilty and sentenced him to death. After reporting the jury's verdict and sentencing him to death, Judge McKean asked the defendant to approach the bench, and continued with these words:
"You will probably have but a short time to live. Before you launch into eternity it behooves you to improve the time that may be allowed you in this world. It behooves you most seriously to reflect on your conduct; to repent of your evil deeds; to be incessant in prayer to the Great and Merciful God to forgive your manifold transgressions and sins; to teach you to rely on the compassion of a dear Redeemer and thereby to avoid those regions of sorrow - those doleful shades where peace and rest can never dwell or even hope cannot enter. It behooves you to seek the prayers, fellowship and advice of pious and good men; to be persistent at the throne of grace; and to learn the way that leadeth to happiness. May you, reflecting on these things, addressing the Great Father of Light and Life, be received into the company and society of angels and archangels, in the spirit of just men made perfect. And may you be qualified to enter into the joys of heaven - joy unspeakable and full of glory."
It was not unusual for judges to hold an altar call following the sentencing of someone to death, in which the sentenced, and members of the audience would repent of their sins and turn to God.

"The Bible is the chief moral cause of all that is good and the best corrector for all that is evil in human society - the best book for regulating the temporal (that is the secular) concerns of men." Noah Webster, Educator/Statesman

Graduated from Harvard University Elected to Massachusetts House of Representatives Served as Speaker of the House in Massachusetts Elected to Congress where he served 12 years Served as Speaker of the House during the 30th Congress Was appointed to fill an unexpired term in the U.S. Senate Served as President of the Massachusetts Bible Society Was Chairman and President of the Peabody Education Fund Trust Was the great-great-grandfather of 2004 Presidential Candidate, Senator John Kerry
A large numer of his speeches (given while he was Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, 1817 - 1819) were published in a larger volume and preserved for us today. Here is an excerpt from one of those speeches titled The Bible and American Government.
"All societies of man must be governed in some way or other. The less they may have of stringent state government the more they must have of individual self-government. The less they rely on physical law and public force, the more they must rely on private moral restraint. Man, in a word, either by a power within them or by a power without them; either by the Word of God, or by the strong arm of man; either by the Bible or by the bayonet. It may do for other countries and other governments to talk about the state supporting religion. Here, under our free institutions, it is religions which must support the state."

JAMES WILSON
- One of only six people to sign both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution - Appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court by President George Washington - Was a representative to the Constitutional Convention and spoke from the floor 168 times - Co-authored a 1792 Commentary on the Constitution - Authored a three volume set of lectures given to students while he was a Supreme Court Justice
Wilson believed all good civil law flows from and must be in agreement with God's Law. In one of his lectures he said:
"It should always be remembered that law made for men or for a nation flows from the same divine source. It's the Law of God. What we do indeed must be founded on what He has done. And the deficiencies of our laws must be filled by the perfections of His. Human law must rest its authority openly on the authority of that law which is divine. We now see the deep and solid foundation of human law. From this short, plain, and I hope, just statement of things, we perceive a principle of connection between all of the learned professions. But especially between the profession of divinity and the profession of law. Far from being rivals or enemies, religion and law are twin sisters, friends and mutual assistants. Indeed, these two sciences run in to each other."
By the way, are you aware that the U.S. Supreme Court used to conduct jury trials? That's a fact! But listen to this and try to relate it to the modern day doctrine of "Separation of Church and State." After the arguments by the presecution and defense had been completed, and the jury had been charged by the justices, a minister would be brought in to pray over the jury before it went into its deliberations. Why did the founding fathers think it was necessary to pray over the jury? They felt it was necessary because "the jury needs to find the mind of God in their verdict."

James McHenry wanted the Bible to be available to everyone because he believed the Bible was the best security for the government that he had helped to create. He wrote, "The Holy Scriptures...can alone secure to society, order and peace, and to our courts of justice and constitutions of government, security, stability and usefulness. In vain, without the Bible, we increase penal laws and draw protections around our institutions."

Famous Judge of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court
In November of 1797, he sentenced a man to death after being convicted of murder. He said,
"You've had a fair and impartial trial. The witnesses have been examined in your presence. You selected your own jury. You've been ably and zealously defended by our own counsel..."
"As you have but a short time to live in this world, and there is no hope of pardon from any earthly hand, let me urge you to seek a pardon from above."
Then Judge Rush goes on to tell this convicted murder how to get that pardon from above, how to pray, what to pray and what God can do for him if he will ask for forgiveness. ___________________________________________________________
A PERSONAL WORD: From Ken Williams
Beginning with all new books, and with all reprinting of our current books, I have been impressed with the need to add a clear, biblical summary as to how a person can come into a personal, intimate relationship with the Creator. The following is what will be included at the end of each book.
BORN AGAIN - SAVED
Some years ago I sat in a church service, and during the sermon heard the rector say, "Those terms do not appear anywhere in the Bible." I don't know what Bible he was reading, but my Bible, and all English translations use those words often.
BORN AGAIN
Jesus was speaking to one of the most influential religious leaders of His day. He told Nicodemus, a member of the ruling Sanhedrin, "With all earnestness I possess I tell you this: Unless you are born again, you can never get into the Kingdom of God" (John 3:3 LB). Jesus went on to explain, "For God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son so that anyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. God did not send His Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it. There is no eternal doom awaiting those who trust Him to save them. But those who don't trust Him have already been tried and condemned for not believing in the only Son of God" (John 3:16-18).
SAVED There are many books in the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, which outline the way to be "born again"/"saved." Consider these passages from the Book of Romans in the New Testament.
"For there is none righteous, no not one" (Romans 3:10).
"For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
"But God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23).
"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
"For all who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13).
The question is: "Have you been born again; have you been saved?" The answer to that question will determine your destiny for all eternity. It is the most important question you will ever face during this lifetime; and putting off that decision would be an eternal disaster.
